His 40-year career has seen highlights including receiving a BRIT Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music, a Silver Clef Award for Lifetime Achievement and appearing as himself in hit US comedy The Simpsons. Other film roles have included parts in Mars Attacks! and Agnes Brown. Tom last visited New Zealand in 2008 for a headline performance at The Mission in Napier but this is his first tour of New Zealand for close to ten years.
